Original USGI M1945 cargo packs. These are the lower pack of the M1945 system.
These come in two varieties.
The first variety is purpose made M1945 packs. These are all illegible or post-war dated.
The second variety started life as M1944 packs. These served very briefly before being updated to the new M1945 standard. While date stampings are all faded away we know these are WWII production. The update is evident as you can see where the original quick release straps were cut away and new straps sewn on.
All inventory is used with fading, snags, nips, and stains. No major defects in the bodies of the bags are present, and all straps and hardware are intact and functional.
The inner rubber liners are good for the most part. You may find a small area of hardening (half-dollar sized at most), but the liners are still largely flexible. THERE MAY BE A TEAR IN THE LINER. Unfortunately this happened with use in service.
