Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk2 Rear Stock Screw BLEM
You are receiving one set of screw and nut.
Reproduction rear stock reinforcing screws for Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk2 rifles. I had a run of reproductions done many years ago, and these are the blemished ones I did not ship previously.
Items will be functional but will display defects in appearance. Finish may be thin/uneven and there may be machining chatter. Most of this will not be visible when fitted to your rifle.
Copied from an original, from old feedback I found that these were a bit long for some rifles and the end of the screw would be proud of the stock just a bit. The steel is not particularly hard and takes well to shortening with some file work.
The threading is not the same as the originals. The correct tap and die were not available at the time so they were cut with a more common domestic pitch. The screw and nut interface with each other just fine and will fit the rifle, but you won't be able to mix and match with the original British screw and nut.
